I am so frustrated right now. I need to vent. Fuck I am so angry and frustrated. I am hungry, I have a headache, I'm tired and so angry! I took my car to find out why it is idling high and why the clutch is sticking. 6 hours later I am home with no car and no answers! They just told me they would know ore tomorrow. Of course they think the problem with the idling is with the computer which is a $650 part so there is no way I am fixing that. Fuck if it is the computer why can't they just re-boot it or something, why do I have to get a new one? I want it fixed! I didn't know they wanted to keep it over night until I waited for 2+ hours, then I had to find a way home. I talked to boy child and hubby. Let hubs know at 5 that Dominic was on his way to get me and I was hungry since all I had eaten today was a cookie and would be home in just over an hour. Arrived home in just over an hour, like expected. My lovely nephew and son just stood and watched me struggle with my cup, 2 bags, pack of pork chops and book, to get out of the car. I dropped my phone getting out and Dom was kind enough to pick it up at which time he noticed I might have my hands full.....

So I come in the door and what do I see but my lovely husband preparing the rub to put on the roast....not yet in the oven, just sitting on the counter while the oven heated up. His reason it wasn't done yet was...I got sucked in to stupid! FUCK he got sucked in to watching Wizards of Waverly Place. I mean really! Seriously! The time elapsed means he watched at least 2 episodes! Also because I didn't not give a definitive DO IT to my son about washing dishes or mowing the lawn, I told him it would please me greatly if he did one or the other and not a direct order he didn't do either! So what did I do when I walked in the door? You guessed it....DISHES! Why you ask, because no else fucking will!

Busy weekend. I am in Chattanooga at the beautiful Downtown Doubletree hotel. for the KDCCW convention. It's been nice so far and the keynote speaker at dinner was lovely. It is always so nice to see everyone. We have stuff starting at 7, don't see myself making that, it will be nice though.

I so love this layout. Seeing that smiling face is a wonderful reason to blog. Who could be sour with that smile to greet you? Of course I have new mood theme to go with but some of the pics are not working and I can't figure out why. And of course I will need some new icons to go with.....

The range of emotions for me today has been ridiculous! I am crazy excited for Ella to be on her way but nervous and flustered too. Of course I get like that when people come over; and since it has been over a year since Ella has been here I am ubber excited. Today has been extra crazy though.

Tom discovered he took the cell phone to work with him today so I had to go and get it since I have to pick Ella up from the airport. James stayed home to help me finish up getting the house in order, of course it is still a mess but it is better. Ok so mess might not be the right word. We just have way too much crap. I so need to weed out our belongings. Anyway.... So

My mom also stopped by with some things she needed me to bring up to church for her. I also went to Walgreens for Tom and Thomas' meds and got gas for the car. Plus to DHS since I missed the mail this morning. So I was very flustered and not paying attention so when I was almost to Toms work I got pulled over for speeding....63 in a 40. OY! Almost $90 ticket. I guess it could have been worse. And I wasn't even supposed to be there! So I had a minor breakdown at the point and sat on the side of the road and cried. Luckily while I was gone James was here at the house working on the cleaning list. Too much d=added to my plate that I wasn't planning on got me overwrought.

I am calm now and James and i found Ella's flight info and were tracking her plane. I am so excited!!!!! I just want to sit and knit and hang with my friend. 62 days she is in the US this time minor rantCollapse )
No, no,no....this is a positive post. I am really looking forward to Ella being here and don't wanna share! Gonna have to get going soon but we are going to have a GREAT visit!

You Are Curious

You are a reserved, more introverted type - but that doesn't mean you're a hermit.
You are truly interested in other people. You like to observe others and see how they tick.

You enjoy being out and about a bit, but you truly shine when you are able to have your solitary time.
You are a natural creator, and you give every project your all. You love to get lost in your work.

So glad to be home. Spent the last 2 evenings at my parents house playing dominoes. Boys and Allison included. I think it was too much for the boys. They got waaaaaay to antsy and fidgety. Thomas and his sarcasm is going to get slapped in the mouth.

Tom started a fire before we left so the house is nice and toasty right now.

I am irritated to no end right now.

I started knitting a mitt at dominoes. I love it so far. It is from
I'm doing it in a teal Cascade 220 and it is looking pretty darn good so far.

Ok, I don't want to call these resolutions. It is now GOALS. That way I can give myself a little leeway.

~So save money. I am going to try the saving $1 a week. and the .25 a week. I am going to change it by keeping the list and each week putting in whatever I can instead of just adding a dollar a week. I figure by December I have no clue how I am gonna come up with an extra $52 the week of Christmas, but Tom worked some overtime last week so I can afford that $52 this week. I am just going to cross off the amounts as I am able to do them of course putting in at least something every week.

~Do SOMETHING before I get on the computer. I make the kids do chores before computer time so I am going to keep myself to that too. Lately I have been washing dishes or doing laundry. Just gotta keep it up.

~Earn money. This one is multi-layered. I don't want a 9-5 job per-se. I am trying to figure out the details but I am thinking something along the lines of knitting/making stuff and opening an etsy store (need a name first) or working a booth at the fall craft fairs.

~De-clutter. I am thinking I want to donate a box/bag of stuff every month. If I gather bit by bit and do a cleaning of one room at a time it shouldn't take much. Already donated a bunch for January with still more to come.

~Get my knitting room back. Right now it has become a catch-all room. Everything just got moved in there when cleaning for the holidays so now I must re-claim.

Calling for snow tomorrow. I hope it lasts.

Tom and the boys got wood today while Allison and I shopped. I bought a new Christmas tree, it even came with some pretty silver ornaments. Got some good after Christmas deals.

They called off school tomorrow, guess they really do expect something. Oy! I NEED them to go back. So tired of the constant mom/ no me time.
